Carbon Washington is partnering with Audubon Washington and other farming and environmental groups to support the Sustainable Farms and Fields bill in the Washington State legislature. This bill would establish a grant program to fund farmers to adopt practices that climate change mitigation.

Carbon Washington and 350 Spokane are hosting a gathering to learn about the Sustainable Farms and Fields bill on Thursday 10/24. Agriculture has huge potential to impact climate change by sequestering carbon or changing practices to reduce emissions.

Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about this bill and join a conversation about how to advocate for this bill during the 2020 legislative sessions. If you'd like, please feel free to pass the information onto your members:
