Window Collisions Prevention Project

Dead Western Tanager

Spokane Audubon Society has partnered with local businesses and other building managers to make their windows safer for birds. Building occupants have reported a decline in the number of bird collisions following window treatments.

Local buildings we’ve worked with include:

  • Doris Morrison Learning Center at Saltese Wetland Area

  • Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge office headquarters

  • Wildland Cooperative (pictured above applying Bird Divert)

  • Spokane Conservation District

  • Gonzaga University

  • Spokane Mountaineers Chalet on Mt. Spokane

If you have a problem with bird collisions at your home or business or would like to learn more about our window collision prevention program, contact us and a member of our window collision group will be in touch.
