Threats to Birds

Spokane Audubon is working locally on the top three threats with our Cats Indoors Initiative, our Window Collision Prevention Project, and ongoing collaboration with other organizations restoring lands for wildlife and land acquisition.

The American Bird Conservancy has excellent information on the many threats that birds face from habitat loss and degradation to cats to window collisions.
