Galapagos - Islands in Flux
Enjoy pictures of the native inhabitants as you learn about the changes that man has wrought to the islands over the centuries. This is the place where Darwin visited and the theory of evolution began to evolve. These isolated islands have wildlife seemingly unconcerned about the presence of humans, but humans have certainly left their mark on the islands and the wildlife. Lindell Haggin, a long-time birder and member of Spokane Audubon Society, recently visited the Galapagos Islands and their home country, Ecuador. Lindell will share her photos along with the photos and insights of Ann Brinly, Jenny Michaels and Mary Marsh.
