Saturday, May 9th, is World Migratory Bird Day, which is traditionally celebrated the second Saturday of May near the peak of spring migrations. It's also eBird's Global Big Day (eBird.org), encouraging participants to count species from home during this pandemic.

You can participate by reporting your bird observations throughout the day to eBird. You can submit once, or as many times as you like. Your observations contribute to a better understanding of global bird populations.
