Wet is Wild: Waterbirds of Saltese Flats Wetlands

  • Spokane Audubon Society spokane, wa USA (map)

Water is a magnet for waterbirds including shorebirds, wading birds, waterfowl, and several species that hang around wetland edges. The Inland Northwest Land Conservancy invites you to join on Wednesday, October 25th at the Doris Morrison Learning Center for a presentation on the diverse waterbirds that flock to Saltese Flats' restored wetlands.

Presenter, Lisa Langelier, retired from the US Fish and Wildlife Service in December 2013 after 25 years working on national wildlife refuges in Colorado and the Inland Northwest. She currently sits on the Conservancy's Land Protection Committee where her expertise helps drive local conservation. Lisa also serves as Spokane Audubon Society’s Vice President of the Board of Directors.
