Join Spokane Audubon volunteers Steve Scordino and Bea Harrison for a walk around the Cheney wetlands. Migratory ducks are returning to the area and the Cheney wetlands offers large areas of duck habitat as well as ponderosa pine forest. This beginner-friendly walk is open to all. A limited number of binoculars will be available.

Trail: mostly flat and well marked. Expected distance is about 3 miles.

Restroom access: Restrooms are available at the trailhead

Permits: A Discover Pass is required for cars parked at the trailhead. A limited number of Discover Passes are available for check out at public libraries.
