The 2026 Colville Christmas Bird Count is ON! Come be a part of the longest running community science program in the United States! Newcomers and all levels of birder are welcome.

We will split up into teams to cover the various sectors, receive the data recording sheets, maps, and instructions and head out by 7:30 a.m. This is typically an all-day event. We will meet back at the Super One deli seating area and compile our numbers at 4:00 pm. This is a time to share stories from the day, noteworthy finds,  and warm up with something from the deli.

 We will try to carpool as much as possible, depending on how comfortable folks are with that. As always, dress appropriately for cold, snowy, winter weather. Pack a lunch and bring your own snacks and beverages.
