The Spokane Audubon Society invites you to participate in a guided bird walk at Medical Lake, followed by an opportunity for socializing at Roam Coffee. Led by Jim and Bea Harrison, this walk will take place along a mostly level, paved trail covering approximately two miles roundtrip, with benches available intermittently for rest. Expect a variety of songbirds and waterfowl and an occasional eagle or owl.
Loaner binoculars and instructions are available. This trip is suitable for all levels of birders. Beginners are welcome, as well as experienced birders.
Restrooms are available. Bring your own water and snacks, if needed.
We will meet at 8:00am at Medical Lake Waterfront Park at the south end of the parking lot. The address is 1386 S. Lefevre Street, Medical Lake, WA 99022. After the bird walk we will gather at Roam Coffee House, 116 N. Lefevre Street, Medical Lake, WA 99022. They offer a variety of sandwiches and pastries.
