“Bird Bash” at Camp Reed cancelled.
Our first-time "Bird Bash" at Camp Reed on Fan Lake Oct. 10-11 is unfortunately cancelled due to lack of both staffing and registrants.
We hope to try this new event, with overnight camp accomodations for group camaraderie, next year, so watch for information at www.audubonspokane.org/events.
Meanwhile you can also watch the Event Calendar for new local birding events on Saturday, Oct. 11, to celebrate Fall World Migratory Bird Day. We'll be adding to the community science database on bird species moving through our area on that day at places like Reardan Audubon Lake Wildlife Area, Palisades Park, Saltese Flats Wetland Area, and/or Slavin Conservation Area.
