Here are the details:
When: Saturday, April 25, 2026, at 8:30 AM sharp
Where: Revere Wildlife Area. Meet at the staging area (directions below)
What to Expect: A safety briefing, a short history of the wildlife area, and a rundown of the day’s activities. Lunch will be provided at noon.
Getting There: The road to the planting site (about 2 miles from the staging area) is rough—SUVs or trucks are recommended. Carpooling is available for those in cars. Look for flagging and signage if you arrive late.
Directions to the project coming from Spokane and further east: Head west on I-90 to Exit 245 Sprague. Take this exit, turn left and head south on Highway 23. Drive about 12 miles, turn right on Davis Road. Drive 6 miles to Wagner Road and take a sharp left. Look for signage and flags to project parking site.
If you are coming from the Westside: Head East on I-90 to Exit 245 Sprague. Take this exit, turn right and head south on Highway 23. Drive about 12 miles, turn right on Davis Road. Drive 6 miles to Wagner Road and take a sharp left. Look for signage and flags to project parking site.
Things to bring to project:
· Boots
· Working Gloves
· Different layers of clothes for all kinds of weather (check weather report the night before)
· Spray for ticks and mosquitoes
· Chair for lunch
