This is a class about how to use the popular electronic birding tools Merlin and eBird effectively and responsibly. This class will be a combination of classroom instruction and field time so you can start using your new skills right away.
Wildlife landscaping is the topic of Spokane Audubon Society Sept. 9 meeting at 6 p.m. at Shadle Park Library, 2111 W. Wellesley Ave., and on-line via Zoom link available at www.audubonspokane.org.
Turnbull National Wildlife Refugehas a rich and varied landscape with many birds to see in in the spring. This bird walk will start at the Headquarters building parking lot. We will walk the Stubblefield Trail and hook up with the Pine Lakes Loop Trail. This walk takes about 2 or 3 hours, but you are welcome to leave early.
